We recently celebrated the graduation of twenty four men and women from our Adult Education program! Kentucky Skills U., which is the Council for Kentucky Postsecondary and Adult Education, set a goal of nineteen graduates for Woodford County in 2019. We are so pleased to have reached 126% of that goal!
We honored these graduates along with those of Jessamine County, our partner in Adult Education. Mary Newton, Director of Adult Education for the two counties, said, "We are really excited to continue this partnership. It's been practically seamless. We're hoping to grow the program even more!" With this program already being ranked as the 8th Best Program for GED Attainment, we cannot wait to see what the future holds!
Below are the recipients of various awards from Woodford County Adult Education. Thank you for your support of this wonderful program!
-Jimmy Brehm, Champion for Adult Education
-Michelle Rankin, Community Partner of the Year
-Elba Salinas, Ambassador for Adult Education
Congratulations to all of the graduates! Thank you to everyone involved in this fantastic opportunity for adults.
